"Grounded in humanity, oriented toward Healing"

Our philosophy...

Grounded in Humanity...

We believe that the road to inequity is paved with dehumanization. As such, our primary goal is to establish common understandings based in our shared human values and experiences. While honoring diversity, we strive to build bridges of connection that are rooted in our basic human desire to been seen, valued, and loved.

Oriented toward Healing...

We hold hope that healing is not only possible, it is the intended byproduct of our communal existence. Our challenge then, is to surface and positively engage with the conflict and tensions that too often divide us. These tensions aren't inherently negative but inevitably result from living and working proximally while being relationally distant. We employ empathy, courage, and research-based skill to reconcile broken and damaged relationships.

Our Guiding Principles

Radical Equity

The work of dismantling systems of inequity takes courage, imagination, and a high tolerance for discomfort.

Gracious Inclusion

We work to extend invitations to "the table" not on the basis of perceived merit, but because it's time to eat.

Abundance Mentality

To effectively engage in the work of redressing inequities, one must hold to the belief that the available resources are sufficient to meet all existing needs.

Fearless Feedback

Achieving true equity requires us to look honestly at ourselves and to actively seek critical commentary.

Many Hands

Improving outcomes and experienced for the marginalized means this can never be "my work", "your work", or "their work." It must always be "our work."

Asymmetrical Listening

To achieve alignment between principles and practice, leaders must immerse themselves in qualitative, quantitative, and anecdotal data from experiences of those they serve.
